Children can also learn to express their thoughts and feelings in helpful ways and as a result their behavior and relationships improve.

Kate is a Social Worker with more than 25 years’ experience in supporting children, young people and families. She has an extensive background in child and youth counselling with expertise in mental health, family separation, trauma, domestic and family violence and specialist child development. Kate’s philosophy is underpinned by her belief in the value and worth of every child. Her approach honours the inner wisdom and self-healing capacities of children and young people and involves working holistically to help children and young people achieve optimal growth and development and fulfil their potential. Kate is registered with the Australian Association of Social Workers and is currently working towards registration with the Australian Play Therapy Association.
